Marudut took his major degree in legal studies, narrowly public international law. He is currently joining at Lokataru Foundation as a researcher. His concerns are on civil rights and freedoms. In 2014, he had a journey living with locals in the deep rainforest of south Borneo. Later, this experience strengthen his enthusiasm in human rights issues, particularly rights about indigenous people. He also developing the agroforestry project. He is very interested in music and photography. He considered himself as a socio-environmentalist. However, he holds a main principle: human and nature must build a ‘well-connection’ to each other, so it will bring the world towards peaceful and sustainable for living.
